The journalists asked Gnel Sanosyan, Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures of the Republic of Armenia, which maps will be used for the demarcation and demarkation and delimitation of Armenia-Azerbaijan. “It was noted that these works should be carried out with maps that have a legal basis.”A direct administrative map is another thing, a textbook map is another thing, a map with a legal basis is another thing,” he said. To the observation that Nikol Pashinyan says these maps exist, which maps are we talking about, Sanosyan replied: “Well, it is better that there are, but it is not related to our ministry that I can give details. As a rule, it is mainly a question related to the defense agencies.

Regarding whether there are new developments regarding the Meghri railway project, Gnel Sanosyan answered: “And you, as a citizen of Armenia, are not in a hurry for peace?” Where are you in a hurry?’ To the journalist’s observation that when the government says “peace,” the opposite happens: a disaster occurs, and Artsakh is depopulated; Sanosyan replied: “We want peace so that there is no disaster. There is a change in the world order in the world. There are much bigger global problems than the ones related to us.”

As for the railway, Sanosyan said that after 2020, the first studies were done. After that, studies were carried out by the University of Architecture and Construction. “In other words, we know the situation there; we imagine what work needs to be done approximately in what time frame. In other words, we have a certain preliminary idea of what needs to be done to restore the railway. But that entire can happen when there are political, diplomatic, and other factors,” he added.

Gnel Sanosyan also addressed the question of why they changed the “Armenian Crossroad” and called it “The Peace Crossroad.” If they say peace, will they get peace? “Yes, we want to get peace, that’s why I asked: why do you want what?” Everyone should make an effort so that there is peace in the region, the region can develop normally, the existing infrastructures can be used, and we think about building new infrastructures.
