On November 8, 2023, Ambassador Makunts received Mr. Jérôme Leyraud, Armenia Country Director of the International Foundation for Electoralyst Sems, as well as other representatives of the IFES.

Topics related to the engagement and support of the IFES in ongoing electoral reforms in Armenia were discussed during the meeting.

The Ambassador and Mr. Leyraud exchanged opinions on the positive developments and necessary steps to be taken to further strengthen the free and fair electoral system in Armenia.
