The United States Department of State has said that the people who have left Nagorno-Karabakh have the right to return home.
“I’ll say that we continue to believe that people who have left Nagorno-Karabakh have the right to come home if they wish to do so, and that’s a right that should be upheld,” Matthew Miller, Spokesperson of the US Department of State, stated this during Tuesday’s Department press briefing.
Over 100,000 Armenians were forcibly displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh after the September 19 Azeri attack. The forcibly displaced persons moved to Armenia.
