The member of the RA NA Civil Contract Faction Mariam Poghosyan highlighted the public interest in the draft law on Voluntary Work, introducing proposals and views among young volunteers at the meeting with the young volunteers held on November 22.
The focus was on the issues regarding the bill on Voluntary Work.
“Voluntary work is an opportunity for young people to express themselves and gain experience,” the deputy said. She suggested that the young people present their observations on voluntary work, which can have a guiding role during the elaboration of the draft.
During the discussion, the participants of the meeting emphasized the establishment of the institution of voluntary work in our country, touched upon the issue of protecting the rights of volunteers, which, according to them, is problematic. Ideas were exchanged on issues concerning volunteer compensation.
