Arayik Harutyunyan, Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister, chairman of the jubilee committee on Aram Khachaturian’s 120th anniversary attended the concert dedicated to the 120th anniversary of the famous Armenian composer Aram Khachatryan in Tbilisi on November 27.
The event was organized under the auspices of Arayik Harutyunyan and Revaz Javalidze, Head of the Government Administration of Georgia.
The concert was also attended by His Grace Bishop Kirakos Davtyan, Primate of the Armenian Diocese of Armenia, Daniel Danielyan, Deputy Minister of the Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Armenia, representatives of Georgian state bodies and parliament, ambassadors and diplomats of a number of countries accredited in Georgia, public and cultural figures, representatives of the Armenian community.

In his speech, Armenian Ambassador to Georgia Ashot Smbatyan spoke about the world fame of Aram Khachatryan, noting the reputation of his classical works among musicologists and music lovers.
The National Chamber Orchestra of Armenia, led by conductor Harutyun Arzumanyan, performed at the concert.
