On December 13, the RA NA President Alen Simonyan received the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Estonia Margus Tsahkna.
The RA NA President expressed hope that the recently intensified mutual visits between the two countries will serve as an incentive to realize the existing potential of cooperation in the best possible way. In this context, bilateral inter-parliamentary ties, effective interaction of Friendship Groups were mentioned.
Underscoring that Estonia is one of our important partners in Armenia-EU relations, Alen Simonyan mentioned that he expects Estonia’s support in the process of visa liberalization between Armenia and the EU.
The Head of the Armenian Parliament presented the security situation in the region, the process of immediate return of our compatriots held in Azerbaijan. Stating that Armenia has chosen an agenda to establish peace in the region, Alen Simonyan explained to the guest the essence of the peace negotiations.
