During parliamentary briefings the Head of the RA NA Armenia Faction Seyran Ohanyan, presenting his observation on the Nagorno Karabakh problem, documented that the whole world should know that 10-month blockade of Nagorno Karabakh that began from December 2022 because of the continuation of the criminal policy pursued by Azerbaijan, ended with one more fake, illegal anti-terrorist act, as a consequence of which genocide was perpetrated in fact against the Nagrono Karabakh people with displacement.
According to the Head of the Faction, the conflict of Nagorno Karabakh is not over: “It has been more deepened, the criminal activity of Azerbaijan has aggravated it, and Azerbaijan should give an answer to it. Nagorno Karabakh has been a factor, and today all institutes should function for preservation of its subjectivity, including the people’s destiny, also the solution of conditions of people’s return. And in this case, the negotiations on the international platform do not have in an accepted or any acceptable new format.”
Seyran Ohanyan opined that the authorities of Armenia and Nagorno Karabakh are responsible for this strategy.
In response to the journalist’s question if the Armenia Faction got acquainted with the Peace Treaty, if it will be signed until the end of the year, Seyran Ohanyan noted that he personally has no permission to get familiarized with the secret materials until now. In his opinion, how can we go to peace after the depopulation of Armenians from Nagorno Karabakh.

“The rhetoric of Azerbaijan has not changed – their actions on the territory of the Republic of Armenia, moreover – in Nagorno Karabakh have not been changed. And after this genocide of Nagorno Karabakh how can we give a hand to the genocide perpetrator and say that we are ready for peace,” Seyran Ohanyan said.
The deputy of the Armenia Faction Artur Khachatryan does not think that the Peace Treaty with Azerbaijan will not be signed until the end of the year. As he assured, the Peace Treaty will not bring peace.
“Sincerely, I think during these remaining 17 days no document was signed, or at least I hope not,” the deputy said.
In relation to the issue of the captives’ return, Seyran Ohanyan mentioned that the wish of all of us is that they will return as soon as possible.
Artur Khachatryan expressed his opinion that we should have an institute of guarantees in the negotiations with Azerbaijan.
Regarding the issue on the regional problems, the Armenian-Azerbaijani relations, Seyran Ohanyan documented: “In case when we pinned hope on us, we won.”
