Every year on the eve of New Year and Christmas, “Dilijan Development Foundation” (DDF), the Dilijan Municipality, and “Dilijan Community Center” (DCC) organize free New Year performances for children of Dilijan and surrounding villages.
This year’s New Year performances will be held for 1,500 children from the Dilijan community. Among the young spectators will also be those who were forcibly resettled from Artsakh.
To ensure that no one is left without a New Year’s gift, the “Dilijan Development Fund” launches a festive collection for the purchase of sweet treats. The cost of one sweet gift is AMD 1000. The total amount to be raised is AMD 1,500,000. The more funds raised, the more children will be able to attend performances and receive gifts.

In 2022, eight performances were held. Artists from Yerevan theatres after Henry Malyan and Hovhannes Tumanyan, specially invited by DDF, acted in the performances.
Fundraising is open to individuals and private companies.

Dilijan Development Foundation (DDF) is a non-profit organization established to support and develop public, environmental, cultural and social initiatives in the city of Dilijan. With the support of the Foundation such projects were implemented as the Youth football academy “Impulse”, environmental initiative “EcoDili”, social veterinary center “Kotopes”. Also, modern and safe playgrounds for the community of Dilijan were built with the support of the foundation.
