On December 14, Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister Arayik Harutyunyan, who is in Paris on a working visit, had a private conversation with Caroline St-Hilaire, Administrator of the International Organization of Francophonie.
The parties discussed a number of issues related to the bid submitted by Armenia to host the Francophonie Games 2027, and the existing cooperation in different directions.
The Chief of the Staff of the Prime Minister emphasized that Armenia highly values its membership to the Francophone family and highly values the existing rich cooperative agenda with the International Organization of La Francophonie. Arayik Harutyunyan noted that Armenia is interested in further deepening of cooperation with OIF and member countries and governments, and Armenia’s bid to host the Francophonie Games in 2027 is also a proof of the aforementioned.

In turn, OIF Administrator Caroline St-Hilaire noted that Armenia’s four-year presidency of the Francophonie Summit was notable for its effectiveness and expressed confidence that Armenia will continue to play an active role in spreading Francophone values and the French language.
