On December 21, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan received Imangali Tasmagambetov, the Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization.
The interlocutors discussed issues related to the CSTO activities. The Secretary General presented to the Foreign Minister of Armenia the results of the session of the CSTO Collective Security Council, and of the joint meeting of the CSTO Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs, the Council of Ministers of Defense and the Committee of Secretaries of Security Councils held in Minsk on November.
During the meeting, Ararat Mirzoyan and Imangali Tasmagambetov exchanged views on the situation in the region, projects aimed at developing transport and economic connectivity, including the “Crossroads of Peace” concept developed by the Government of the Republic of Armenia.
