Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent a condolence message to Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida in connection with the devastating earthquake and tsunami that occurred in Ishikawa Prefecture and neighboring regions. The message reads as follows,
“I was deeply saddened to learn about the devastating earthquake and tsunami that occurred in Ishikawa Prefecture and neighboring regions in Japan, which claimed the lives of dozens of people and caused great destruction.
At this difficult moment, Armenia and the Armenian people stand by the friendly Japanese people. I am confident that due to the decisive actions of the Japanese government, the severe consequences of the natural disaster will be quickly overcome.
I express my sympathy and support to the families and relatives of the victims of the disaster, wishing endurance and speedy recovery to all the injured.”
