On January 17–18, Ambassador Tigran Balayan visited Luxembourg where he had meetings with the representatives of executive, legislative, and local self-government bodies of Luxembourg.
At the meeting with the leadership of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Luxembourg, Ambassador Balayan discussed the steps and initiatives aimed at promoting bilateral cooperation and the work aimed at deepening the Armenia-EU partnership.
During the conversations with Claude Wiseler, President of the Chamber of Deputies, and high-ranking parliamentarians, they discussed the programs of inter-parliamentary contacts.
During the meetings with the representatives of both the Parliament and the Foreign Ministry, Ambassador Balayan drew their attention to the tendency of Azerbaijan’s top leadership to de facto abandon EU-mediated agreements and to incite new violence, emphasizing the need to confront them with decisive actions.
