Next, the Prime Minister visited the House of Culture in Vayk, where various groups operate, but the building conditions are not in a good condition. Nikol Pashinyan instructed the Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Gnel Sanosyan to develop a project for the reconstruction of the House of Culture in cooperation with the regional administration, as well as to present with the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports a plan for the development of the activities of the House of Culture and the expansion of the existing groups.
At the meeting held in the community hall, the programs implemented in the enlarged Vayk community, the existing problems and the steps to solve them were discussed. The Prime Minister also instructed to present a program for the reconstruction of the irrigation water pipeline, which will be implemented with the financing of the Government.
Reference was also made to the school construction program implemented by the Government, to the issue of involving children from settlements with few students to schools in neighboring communities. “We build the road leading from the village to the educational complex, we provide the means of transport: take the children to school at the expense of the state, bring them home in the evening. The school is not for the village, the school is for the child and after finishing school, he should be able to take care of his needs in life. For that, you need to get a normal education. We are implementing a demographic program, and if the number of children in this village increase with our demographic strategy and other programs, will we build a school there. Now there is a medical center in Yeghegnadzor, if we see it is overloaded, we will build a medical center in Vayk and so on. This is the right way.
Today, no school is closed in the republic, today schools are being built. And after implementing the program of 300 schools, it will be the turn of the next 300. The entire school architecture and structure will change. The educational complex should have proper conditions, equipped classrooms, sports equipment, educational materials, environment, because education is an environment. Education is not only dealing with books, education is also dealing with society.
Where we build a school, we also implement a program of outpatient clinics and roads, so that there is healthcare, education, in addition to the school there should also be a preschool institution, as well as the housing construction program of 16 million AMD should be available, so that we have a demographic culmination,” the Prime Minister said, attaching importance to similar discussions from the perspective of listening to other opinions and adjusting future policies.
