Dear representatives of the armed forces,
I congratulate all of us on the occasion of the 32nd anniversary of the formation of our army.
The Armenian Army is one of the valuable achievements of the Republic of Armenia, one of the main guarantors of the independence and security of the homeland.
Protection of the rights of every representative of the armed forces is one of the primary directions of my work. In that context, I regularly visit military units and other military institutions, meet with servicemen with the aim of developing more effective structures aimed at protecting their rights. Based on the systematic problems, solution proposals are developed and they are presented to the competent state bodies.
I would like to emphasize that the protection of human rights and rights-based ideas are of exceptional importance from the viewpoint of the armed forces.
I am convinced that, like any system, the armed forces can function properly and efficiently based solely on the principle of the rule of law.
Congratulating once again on the occasion of the holiday, I wish the representatives of the armed forces a good and peaceful service.”
