NA Vice President Hakob Arshakyan gives an opening speech in the Forum titled Artificial Intelligence For Business

 

On February 2, the RA NA Vice President Hakob Arshakyan attended the Conference titled Artificial Intelligence For Business.

Welcoming the organizers and participants of the event, the RA NA Vice President touched upon the activities and proposing services of some companies in the sector, Hakob Arshakyan particularly spoke about the necessity of the activity of the companies engaged with the analysis of whole financial and documentation system based on artificial intelligence for the leading consulting companies of the world and such services also for the state. “We found out that we don’t have a data based on which it will be possible to run the algorithm of the artificial intelligence, to automate the document flow to do analyses with automation and artificial intelligence based on it. This resulted in the perception of the facts that we, yes, have strong companies engaged in artificial intelligence, however, the state has no sufficient data base, on the basis of which they can study those algorithms,” Hakob Arshakyan stated and added that there is a challenge of having such smart bases in Armenia.

Noting that the artificial intelligence for business theme is also related to digitalization and high technologies, the NA Vice President presented Ashot Hovhannisyan’s book Rise, which is an inspiring story about digital transformation and overcoming challenges. He also presented his positive impressions about his visit to the company being engaged with cancer diagnosis and treatment, also works through artificial intelligence algorithm.

As Hakob Arshakyan assessed, in the near future the artificial intelligence will make great changes in the world, and the companies and states not using the positive possibilities may end up in deep crisis and backwardness. “The work of the state is also to be able to approach the issues competently, to formulate the problems correctly, to propose and to use right solutions, not to fall behind this important technological revolution and to lead that revolution to some extent,” the RA NA Vice President concluded.

The RA Minister of Economy Vahan Kerobyan, the RA Minister of High-Tech Industry Mkhitar Hayrapetyan, the Governor of the RA Central Bank Martin Galstyan also gave welcoming speech. They particularly referred to the possibilities of effectively introducing the toolkits of the artificial intelligence in the economy, radio-communication, scientific information and in a number of other spheres.

The Chair of the RA NA Standing Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs Gevorg Papoyan, the Deputy Chair of the NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs Babken Tunyan, the NA deputies, the members of the Government, the representatives of the Central Bank, consulting companies and businessmen took part in the event.

The purpose of the Conference is to unite the leaders, the innovative thinkers and the experts of the artificial intelligence of the sphere to study the super-modern strategies of the artificial intelligence.
