Lithuania was the first country to recognize the independence of the Republic of Armenia. We attach importance to the deepening of the relations with Lithuania, the development of cooperation in various fields and platforms. Welcoming the visit of the delegation led by the Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Jonas Survila to Armenia, the Chair of the Standing Committee on European Integration of the National Assembly Arman Yeghoyan said.
The Head of the NA Armenia-Lithuania Friendship Group Arsen Torosyan also attended the meeting held on February 22.
The interlocutors touched upon the bilateral interaction within the framework of the Armenia-EU relations. Arman Yeghoyan highlighted the role of Lithuania in deploying the EU Civilian Observation Mission on the border of Armenia.
