Meeting of Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Germany
On February 28, in Berlin, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan had a meeting with Annalena Baerbock, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany.
Issues on regional security were discussed. The interlocutors touched upon the normalization process of Armenia-Azerbaijan relations and the discussions which commenced in Berlin on the same day with the participation of the Ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan.
Ararat Mirzoyan briefed his counterpart on the approaches of Armenia to the key issues of the normalization of Armenia-Azerbaijan interstate relations, which are also reflected in the Statement adopted as a result of the quadrilateral meeting held in Granada in October 2023, among others including the border delimitation process based on the 1991 Alma-Ata Declaration and unblocking of regional communications under the sovereignty and jurisdiction of states and based on principles of reciprocity and equality.
