The purpose of the adoption of the package of draft laws on Making Amendments and Addenda to the RA Code of Administrative Procedure and on Making Amendments and Addenda to the RA Code on Administrative Offenses is to relieve the burden of the Administrative Court, as well as to solve the problems in law enforcement practice.
The issue was debated at the RA NA regular sitting on March 19.
“The legislative initiative will regulate a number of issues in the field of administrative proceedings, more detailed rules of the procedure and terms of the accelerated trial are planned, defining from which moment the court passes to issue a judicial act and when the judicial act must be published. The Code will be supplemented with new articles,” the RA Deputy Minister of Justice Ara Mkrtchyan said, presenting the legislative package in detail.
The Chair of the RA NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs Vladimir Vardanyan informed that a work debate was held regarding the legislative initiative, the proposed addenda and amendments were debated in detail at the Committee sitting. He proposed to vote for the draft.
