Krasnodar authorities plan to restore the historical mill building, built at the beginning of the 20th century by a local Armenian merchant. They will allocate 42 million rubles for the restoration of the Kirkor Kior-Ogly mill in Krasnodar.
The mill was built in 1921 by a Persian-Armenian merchant Kirkor Kior-Ogly, who also owned the Kuban Trekhgorny brewery and lemonade plant, and a residential building with a bakery in the city center.
The mill is a monument of industrial architecture of regional significance and a cultural heritage site of federal significance, but has been in poor condition for many years. The authorities have repeatedly stated the need for its reconstruction.
