On March 28, the Vice President of the RA National Assembly, the Head of the Armenia-Georgia Friendship Group Ruben Rubinyan received the delegation led by the Chairman of the Education, Science and Youth Affairs Committee of Parliament of Georgia Givi Mikanadze.
Speaking about bilateral ties, the NA Vice President underscored that the Armenian-Georgian relations are at the strategic level.
To Ruben Rubinyan’s assessment, in the last years the inter-parliamentary cooperation has increased, and the effective work of the Friendship Groups promotes it.

Thanking the Ruben Rubinyan for warm reception Givi Mikanadze noted that the connections of the two countries are close not only with cultural and historical ties, but there are also similarities in the parliamentary government system.
Reference was made to the bilateral cooperation in the inter-parliamentary organizations.
The sides highlighted the establishment of peace in the region.
The Chair of the Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Diaspora, Youth and Sport of the RA National Assembly Sisak Gabrielyan took part in the meeting.
