The purpose of the designing amendments is the rise of control efficiency towards the improvement of the legal relations connected with the exchange of information in electronic form between tax bodies of state members of the Eurasian Economic Union on payments of indirect taxes. At April 1 sitting of the Standing Committee on Regional and Eurasian Integration the draft law on Ratifying the Protocol on Amendments to the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) on exchange of information in electronic form between tax authorities of state members of the Eurasian Economic Union on paid amounts of indirect taxes on December 11, 2009 was debated.
As the Deputy Chairman of the RA State Revenue Committee Ashot Muradyan presented, the amendments being made by the protocol refer to the reduction of regularity of exchange of information between the tax bodies of the parties (passing from ten-day to every-week regime) for raising the operativeness of getting tax information and revising it. Some technical changes were also made.
Answering the deputies’ questions, the key rapporteur touched upon the return of the value added tax (VAT) debit and its procedures.
The Deputy Chair of the Standing Committee on Regional and Eurasian Integration Vagharshak Hakobyan highlighted the started procedure.
