At the regular sitting of April 11, the Parliament debated the draft law on making amendments to the protocol of December 11, 2009 on the electronic exchange of information on the paid amounts of indirect taxes between the tax bodies of the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union. It was presented by the Deputy Chairman of the State Revenue Committee Ashot Muradyan. The protocol was signed on August 22, 2023 in Moscow.
The purpose of the proposed amendments is to improve the legal relations related to the exchange of electronic information between the tax bodies of the EEU member states and to increase the effectiveness of control over input of indirect taxes. Some technical amendments were also made.
The endorsement of the NA Standing Committee on Regional and Eurasian Integration was presented by Shirak Torosyan.
