Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan with his wife Anna Hakobyan met the finalists, coaches, referees of the amature table tennis tournament “Prime Minister’s Cup” of the Republic of Armenia in Aghveran and talked with them around the campfire.
During the conversation, Nikol Pashinyan highlighted the importance of holding the amateur tournaments “Prime Minister’s Cup” in various sports and emphasized the need to promote a healthy lifestyle.
The participants of the tournament shared their impressions about the organization and holding of the competitions, and thanked for holding such events.

During the question-and-answer session, Prime Minister Pashinyan touched upon the reforms in the field of education, the government’s steps towards the construction of schools, the popularization of various sports, the development of sports and other issues.
It was informed that about 45% of all schools of the republic were included in the qualifying stages of the amateur table tennis tournament “Prime Minister’s Cup of Armenia”.
More than 3,100 students of grades 5-9 and 10-12 of 626 public educational institutions of Yerevan and regions participated in the competitions.
The teams that were recognized as winners by age groups in the regional rounds held on April 15-23 will participate in the national finals at the Ara Manukyan Children’s and Youth Sports School in Charentsavan on April 28.
