The competence of the commission on border delimitation and border security and its members is not regulated anywhere, the commission’s rules of procedure provide only organizational-procedural rules.
The “delimitation” announced in the Tavush area is in gross violation of international requirements, people’s security and rights.
The process is keep secret and is specifically excluded from oversight by rule of law mechanisms.
The Government itself declares that there is not even a draft regulation of the demarcation commission.
