Why did they turn the word “governorate” into chewing gum?

May 09,2024 10:30

On December 8, 1991, the signing of the Belovezha Accords declared that the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR) had effectively ceased- establishing 12 independent states, and the Baltic republics had seceded earlier. Since that moment, in almost 33 years, has there been a case when any of the independent states joined the Russian Federation or the leadership of those states expressed such a desire?

There is the Union State of Russia and Belarus, but Belarus is an entirely independent state. Wearing the mask of a “kolkhoznik,” Lukashenko conducts a flexible and independent policy. Russia, yes, wants to “subdue” Ukraine by force, but this is madness, delusion – such a thing will never happen.

Thus, no state or elite of any country has no desire to enter the structure of Russia, to become a “province” of Russia. And the reason is evident. Russia does not have political, economic, or technological resources that can “seduce” any neighbor. What is the cause of why Pashinyan’s propagandists turned the words “Russia” and “governorate” into chewing gum, attributing to the opponents of the government what they had not even thought of?

Yes, some forces believe that good relations should be maintained with Russia and also, if possible, cooperate in the military sphere. And Pashinyan doesn’t want that? Have the preachers heard anything like this from their “boss”?

According to official propaganda, any citizen who opposes Armenia’s implementation of Aliyev’s endless demands is an agent of Russia and is fighting against Armenia’s sovereignty. It’s as absurd as judgments about religious leadership.

“You don’t like the delimitation, leave the country, go to your Moscow” – I have seen such an indignant post.

In the end, who went to Moscow?
