On May 20, the Chair of the Standing Committee on Foreign Relations Sargis Khandanyan met with the U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary Brandon Yoder. The member of the Standing Committee on Foreign Relations Maria Karapetyan and the member of the Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs Arpine Davoyan took part in the meeting.
Welcoming the guest, Sargis Khandanyan highlighted the dynamic development of the Armenia-USA relations, which includes numerous spheres of mutual interest and stressed that there is great potential of development in the relations between two countries.
Thanking the MPs for the opportunity of meeting, Brandon Yoder expressed conviction that the relations with Armenia will develop and strengthen.

During the meeting the MPs presented the procedure of reforms being made in the law enforcement system and judicial sphere and expressed their gratitude to the American side for the continuous support on the way of implementing those reforms.
Issues on regional security were also discussed.
