On May 20, in Vienna, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan had a meeting with Robert Floyd, the Executive Secretary of the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization.
The Interlocutors emphasized the role of the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty* in non-proliferation and nuclear disarmament.
“Armenia, as an advocate of non-proliferation, is adherent to its commitment to the Treaty and also values the effective cooperation formed with the organization to date as well as sees the need to increase its visibility in Armenia.”
The interlocutors discussed issues of Armenia’s cooperation with the organization, particularly in the context of capacity building projects.
