Reverend Bagrat and the participants of the “Tavush for the Motherland” movement visited Saryan Street yesterday, where the “Yerevan Wine Days” festival is held.
The reverend was warmly received, with visitors of the wine festival and representatives of the wine companies taking pictures with him.

The archbishop stopped by the stalls, greeted the participants, and praised the wines. He mentioned that some of the representatives of the winemaking companies are his friends.
A bottle of wine was presented to the bishop. He joked, “I hope they don’t say that you bribed me.”
A woman approached the reverend and told that her son always greets him with the flag of Armenia from the balcony of their house: “We will be away for two weeks on Monday, and my son is upset. He is afraid that you’ll think that he’ve cheated.”
A Japanese woman, one of the thousands of tourists who visited the wine festival, warmly greeted the reverend, expressed her thanks in Japanese with “arigato,” then said “mersi” and exclaimed, “Armenia.”
