“Our message to Aliyev and all the beneficiaries is that your servants will leave soon, think about what you will do”

June 08,2024 12:00

In his speech today in the courtyard of Saint Anna Church, the leader of the “Tavush for the Motherland” movement, Reverend Bagrat, referred to the recent statement of the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, in which he said, “It is impossible to conclude a peace agreement as long as the existing Constitution of Armenia remains unchanged.”

According to the reverend, the government of Armenia, by lying for a long time, has brought the country to this state and will continue to lie, making toothless statements, trying to show that they are reacting to Azerbaijan in some way.

“It is clear that these processes are taking place on the Azerbaijani side not through negotiations, but through dictates, imperatives, and coercion. It is enough for you (he means Pashinyan) to constantly give up, give in, and be under the orders of the enemy to keep your seat. Therefore, it becomes even more urgent to remove these people as soon as possible; we have no other way. We will do it, very clearly and directly, very clearly and confidently,” said Reverend Bagrat.

He stated that unfortunately the struggle is in two directions, both internal and external. “Our message to Aliyev and all his beneficiaries who have a problem with us: your servants will leave soon, think about what you will do. I am sorry that they talk to the authorities of my country like that.

Heydar’s son Ilham, in no way can you impose what is completely against our will, our biography, and our existence. Armenia has not spoken its word in the full sense. What it seems to you and your colleagues and servants that you have implemented in Armenia, you are terribly mistaken.”

The bishop announced that the movement will move from the Red Cross office to Vanadzor at 12:30 tomorrow.
