On June 10, the RA NA President Alen Simonyan received the U.S. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Armenia Kristina Kvien.
The security situation in the South Caucasus, the process of the Armenian-Azerbaijani negotiations, the problems of the return of Armenian prisoners of war illegally held in Azerbaijan were discussed.
The Armenia-USA inter-parliamentary cooperation, as well as a number of issues on bilateral interaction were at the core of the talk.
Reference was made to the reforms on democracy, freedom of speech and human rights in Armenia.
