On June 11, the National Assembly began the work of the regular sittings. The deputies approved the draft agenda of the NA regular sittings, after which the debate of the drafts began. The debate of several agenda items will be held in the special procedure: their second reading will be held after the adoption in the first reading within twenty-four hours.
The legislative package on Making Amendment and Addendum to the law on Legal Persons’ State Registration, the Legal Persons’ Separated Sub-divisions, State Accounting of the Institutions and Individual Entrepreneurs and on Making Addendum to the law on the Rights of the Participants of the Pension System Accumulative Component and Additional Guarantees of Protection of Legal Interests was debated in the first reading, presented by the RA Deputy Minister of Justice Armenuhi Harutyunyan.
The purpose of the initiative is to extend the term stipulated by the transitional provision of the law N HO-374-N adopted on November 22, 2023, giving an opportunity to the persons to apply to the body implementing state registration and state calculation for recognizing the registration of the organizations or the individual entrepreneurs’ calculation.
An opportunity is given to move the pension savings formed in the accumulative system of Nagorno Karabakh to the pension funds functioning in the Republic of Armenia. The person being participant of the accumulative system of Nagorno Karabakh vcan apply for moving his/her pension savings, and in case of not applying the person moderating the register of the fund participants will ensure the steps necessary for moving pension savings to the pension funds functioning in the RA accumulative system.

In the context of the question of the NA Vice President Hakob Arshakyan, detailing the purpose of the initiative, the Deputy Minister informed that the Government initiated this amendments, in order an opportunity will be created for our compatriots forcibly displaced from Nagorno Karabakh to fully execute their rights and to move already the accumulated parts in Nagorno Karabakh to the RA pension funds, in the future to make use of one pension system. That means, the initiative refers to the persons, who moved from Nagorno Karabakh, who work in Armenia, receive salaries, pay the accumulative pension shares. “We regulate their guarantees and rights of making use of the pension funds in the future with this,” responding to the rapporteur, Hakob Arshakyan clarified.
