On June 29 on the sidelines of the Dubrovnik Forum, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan had a discussion with the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Slovenia Tanja Fajon on the issues of bilateral and regional agenda.
The interlocutors touched upon the good dynamics of political dialogue on key issues of mutual interest and upcoming events.
Views were exchanged regarding the issues of regional security, taking into account the fact that Slovenia at this moment holds non-permanent membership in the UN Security Council.
Minister Mirzoyan presented recent developments in the normalization process of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan stressing the importance of the signing of the peace treaty.

In the context of the situation in the Middle East, the ministers touched upon the recognition of the State of Palestine by Slovenia and Armenia within the last month, in line with the “two-state” principle.
