According to the presented draft, it is proposed that for 20 years, the beneficiaries of the Zinapah foundation should maintain the group in which they initially became a beneficiary, and the amount of compensation was set, regardless of what changes in the disability group will occur in the future: This was stated by the RA Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Davit Khachatryan.
On July 10, at the extraordinary sitting of the RA NA Standing Committee on Labor and Social Affairs, the draft law on Making Addenda and Amendments to the Law on Compensation for Damages Caused to the Life or Health of Servicemen During the Defense of the Republic of Armenia was debated in the first reading.
The period of compensation for the cases of death after being wounded during combat operations was set for five years, which was also proposed to be removed by the draft.
The deputy Lilit Stepanyan, emphasizing the necessity of adopting the draft, noted that this is the clear approach and position of the state towards its soldier. There have been many debates on the issue. Lilit Stepanyan inquired how many beneficiaries they have.

The Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Zinapah Foundation Tatevik Yaghjian informed that in connection with the amendment, they currently have approximately 300 beneficiaries.
The Chair of the RA NA Standing Committee on Labor and Social Affairs Heriknaz Tigranyan highlighted the awareness of the proposed amendment. She informed that the Government proposed to debate the draft urgently.
