Armenia’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Greece Tigran Mkrtchyan met with the Commander of the Third Army Corps of Greece, Commander of the NATO Rapid Deployment Corps in Greece, Lieutenant General Athanasios Garinis during his working visit to Thessaloniki. This was reported by Armenia’s Embassy to Greece.
The latter highly appreciated the friendly Greek-Armenian relations based on a common value system, noting that the established cooperation between the Defense Ministries of Armenia and Greece is on solid foundations.
The interlocutors discussed bilateral cooperation in the field of defense. Reference was made to the implementation of the agreements reached during the official visits of Armenia’s Defense Minister’s visit to Greece in December, 2023 and the Minister of National Defense of Greece to Armenia in March of this year.
Armenia’s Ambassador also presented the achievements and current programs in other areas of Armenian-Greek bilateral relations, and also referred to regional developments.
