Deputy Foreign Ministers of Armenia Paruyr Hovhannisyan and Vahan Kostanyan received the members of the American Judeo-Christian Union “Save Armenia” delegation. The delegation included high-ranking leaders of the U.S. evangelical community and experts from non-governmental organizations operating in Washington, DC.
Deputy Ministers of Foreign Affairs Paruyr Hovhannisyan and Vahan Kostanyan briefed the attendees on the security situation in the region and the efforts of Armenia towards establishing peace in the South Caucasus. They also touched upon the normalization process of Armenia-Azerbaijan relations, as well as the continuous threats against Armenia by Azerbaijan.
Deputy Ministers of Foreign Affairs also touched upon issues on Armenia-US bilateral relations and the steps aimed at raising the level of cooperation to a strategic partnership.
Deputy Ministers also answered the questions of the delegation members.
