Ambassador Kvien joined Armenian service members in a “Women’s Integration in the Armed Forces” workshop at Vazgen Sargsyan Military Academy.
The workshop is co-hosted by the Armenian Ministry of Defense and the Department of Defense’s Institute for Security Governance and runs from 21 through 26 July.
The intended outcome of the workshop is to jointly develop policies to recruit and employ more women in the Armenian Armed Forces.
