On 7 August, the International Trade Centre (ITC) in Armenia launched the ‘Trainings and advisory services on export marketing for agribusiness SMEs’ programme.
The programme is part of the ‘Building sustainable agribusiness and apparel value chains in Armenia’ project, funded by the European Union.
This initiative aims to provide agribusiness SMEs with the knowledge and skills needed for global market success, especially in the European Union.
Conducted by the Business Support Centre, this programme is a key preparation for Armenia’s participation in the SIAL Paris Food Trade Fair in October 2024, says a Facebook post by the EU Delegation to Armenia.
“The programme is aimed at boosting local business,” said Karen Azaryan, Trade officer at the EU Delegation to Armenia. “It will help small companies better understand the EU market, improve their marketing, and strengthen their communication and negotiation skills. These businesses are leading Armenia’s economic growth, and their success is key to a thriving future in trade.”
