Armradio.am. Chargé d’Affaires of Armenia in Belarus Narek Tiraturyan has been summoned to the Foreign Ministry in connection with the incident at Belarusian Embassy in Yerevan, which the Ministry called “vandalism.”
“The Armenian diplomat was informed in detail about the act of vandalism committed by a group of persons against the building of the Belarusian Embassy in Yerevan, the damage caused to the Belarusian diplomatic mission and apparently insufficient measures by the Armenian law enforcement to prevent it,” the Ministry said.
“The Belarusian side assumes that the vandals will be identified, that they will compensate for the damage inflicted and will be punished in accordance with Armenian legislation,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed.
Activists threw eggs, tomatoes and potatoes at the walls of the Belarusian Embassy in Arinj today, in protest to the statements of the Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko.
