President of Russia Vladimir Putin and President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev spoke over the phone.
The two Leaders expressed satisfaction with the successful outcome of the recent state visit that the President of Russia made to Azerbaijan.
They noted that consistent implementation of the agreements reached during the visit would further promote the alliance and partnership between Russia and Azerbaijan.
The Presidents continued to discuss various aspects of the current situation in the South Caucasus, including:

• the drafting of a peace treaty between Azerbaijan and Armenia,
• border delimitation and demarcation,
• unblocking of transport lines between the two states.
In this connection, the Russian side reaffirmed its readiness to provide all possible assistance to Baku and Yerevan in working out mutually acceptable solutions.
