On October 16, Ambassador Lilit Makunts received Tamara Wittes, President of the National Democratic Institute (NDI). During the meeting, they discussed the key focus areas for NDI’s Armenian office in the coming years, specifically programs aimed at strengthening parliamentarianism, promoting youth participation, supporting civil society, and enhancing women’s political involvement.
The Ambassador provided an update on recent developments in the peace process and reaffirmed Armenia’s commitment to bringing it to a conclusion.
