EPA Statement on the U.S. Elections

The European Party of Armenia (EPA) extends its heartfelt congratulations to the people of the United States on the peaceful and democratic election of the 47th President, Donald Trump.
The re-establishment of Armenian statehood in 1920 was profoundly influenced by the support and Christian solidarity of the American people. During the Armenian Genocide of 1915-1921, countless Armenian children were saved through orphanages established by the U.S. government and humanitarian organizations.

Since 1992, the United States has provided over $3 billion in humanitarian aid to the Republic of Armenia, helping the country recover from the 1988 earthquake, navigate the challenges of war, and endure an ongoing blockade.

In 2018, President Trump was among the first world leaders to extend an offer of political and military cooperation to Armenia, conveyed by U.S. National Security Advisor John Bolton.

The European Party of Armenia is confident that President Trump will continue to advance the strategic dialogue between the U.S. and Armenia, ensuring that the genocidal actions committed by Azerbaijan and Russia in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) from 2020 to 2023 will never be repeated.

God bless America.
