The statement of the Conference of democratic forces regarding the results of the EuroVote and the European Future of Armenia
The platform of democratic forces, which, through its initiative group consisting of 51 people, carried out the popular signature collection on the draft law for Armenia’s accession to the European Union, EuroVote, heralds the end of this important process of expressing the will of the Armenian people. 60,000 people from the Republic of Armenia supported the process with their signatures, and the process was completed almost twice as quickly as planned.
We thank all our fellow citizens who contributed to this project of building Armenia’s European future by signing or participating in organizing the European vote.

The EuroVote results and authoritative sociological surveys show that the Armenian people’s will is unequivocal. The Republic of Armenia should be a member of the European Union. Europe is the civilizational destination of the Armenian people and many advanced nations.
We will consistently continue to believe that in the created geopolitical situation, the sovereignty, security, development of democracy and the provision of human rights and freedoms, economic growth, and the preservation of the cultural identity of the Republic of Armenia are possible only within the framework of the military-political alliance of the Euro-Atlantic civilization, the critical component of which remains membership in the European Union.
The EuroVote headquarters handed over 60,000 signatures of RA citizens who joined the signature collection to the Central Electoral Commission today, and we call on the authorities to discuss and adopt the draft law presented by the EuroVote initiative group in the National Assembly without delay.
