On November 21, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan received Anton Hofreiter, Chair of the Committee on EU Affairs of the German Bundestag.
The interlocutors touched upon the efforts aimed at further deepening of the bilateral cooperation between Armenia and Germany, both in bilateral format and in the framework of the EU.
In the context of further expanding the bilateral partnership agenda, alongside with the high-level political dialogue, the importance of developing cooperation in areas of mutual interest and fostering it through active interparliamentary engagements was emphasized .
Touching upon the intention to deepen the Armenia-EU partnership, Minister Mirzoyan stressed the ongoing reforms implemented by Armenia in the spheres of strengthening democracy, the rule of law, and the protection of human rights. The importance of cooperation aimed at further strengthening Armenia’s resilience was emphasized.
