On December 5 in Malta Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan had a meeting with the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of Slovenia Tanja Fajon. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the OSCE Ministerial Council.
The interlocutors exchanged views on regional developments. In the context of establishing lasting peace in the South Caucasus, Minister Mirzoyan presented the latest developments in the process of normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan. Regarding the concluding of the peace treaty, Minister Mirzoyan noted that if political will is demonstrated, it can be finalized and signed promptly.
Ararat Mirzoyan and Tanja Fajon also discussed issues of deepening the Armenia-EU partnership and cooperation in frameworks of the OSCE.
In the context of expanding the bilateral agenda between Armenia and Slovenia, Foreign Ministers of the two countries touched upon the recent steps, opportunities and the organization of reciprocal visits next year to further promote political dialogue and cooperation.
