605 repatriates participated in workshops and awareness-raising sessions

The Repatriation and Integration Center of the RA Office of the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs serves as a comprehensive resource hub for repatriates, offering assistance with all aspects of relocating to Armenia.

2024 Achievements:

  • Requests Processed: 1796, including 1109 letters, 275 calls, and 412 visits.
  • Workshop & Sessions: 605 repatriates participated in workshops and awareness-raising sessions.
  • Free Language Classes: 202 repatriates benefited from free Armenian language courses.
  • Integration Support: 92 repatriates attended integration seminars, and 25 participated in IT training.
  • Specialized Courses: Organized training on artificial intelligence, investments, SMM, and more.
  • Advisory Meetings: Held 10 advisory meetings in partnership with the “Repat Armenia” Foundation.

The Center facilitated meetings for repatriates on topics such as business setup, employment opportunities, education, military service, and mortgage loans, working closely with public and private sector partners.

The Center’s “Repatriation Week,” held from May 27 to 31, 2024, featured a series of events designed to engage and support repatriates integrating into Armenian society. The week included roundtable discussions, a book launch, master classes, online and offline consultations, and a chess tournament for schoolchildren. Over 230 repatriates from countries such as Argentina, the USA, Canada, France, Russia, Lebanon, Syria, Israel, and Ukraine participated in these activities.

As part of the program for Syriac Armenians, 57 repatriates received healthcare assistance.

The year concluded with a festive New Year’s event attended by over 50 children from repatriated families.
