Today, I once again reached out to my international colleagues, drawing their attention to the statement made yesterday by the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev.
Yesterday, he declared that “Armenia is a fascist state” and that its “existence must come to an end.” He also emphasized that the so-called “Zangezur Corridor must and will be opened,” which is nothing less than an explicit threat to Armenia’s territorial integrity.
Such statements are not mere rhetoric; they constitute direct and unequivocal calls to violate international law, strip the Republic of Armenia of its sovereign rights, and threaten the safety of its civilian population. This is a blatant manifestation of hostile aggression, and if left uncondemned by the international community, it could escalate into unpredictable actions.
