This year, the Khachaturian International Competition will take place in the “Conducting” category. The competition traditionally begins on June 6, commemorating the birthday of the renowned Armenian composer Aram Khachaturian.
Conductors aged 16 to 35 from all nationalities and citizenships are invited to participate.

The Khachaturian Competition, organized by the Aram Khachaturian Cultural Foundation, seeks to discover talented young pianists, violinists, cellists, and conductors, while also celebrating and preserving the musical legacy of Aram Khachaturian.
The competition is a member of the World Federation of International Music Competitions (WFIMC) and has secured its place among prestigious international music competitions over the past two decades.
