On February 11, the RA NA President Alen Simonyan received the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Italian Republic to the Republic of Armenia Alessandro Ferranti. Congratulating the Ambassador on assuming his tenure, Alen Simonyan expressed hope that the newly appointed Ambassador will make a significant contribution to the development and deepening of multi-faceted relations between Armenia and Italy.
In his turn Alessandro Ferranti thanked the RA NA President for reception and assured him that he will do his best to deepen and expand the bilateral relations.
The interlocutors’ discussions also focused on inter-parliamentary relations and other topics of mutual interest.
