On February 18, the member of the NA Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Diaspora, Youth and Sport Julieta Azaryan met with the members of the NGO Armenian Automobile Federation Andranik Harutyunyan, Gevorg Arustamyan and Gurgen Sefilyan.
The guests presented the problems of the Federation, which were referred to the organizational issues of motorsports competitions, in this context, problems with local self-government bodies, customs, financial difficulties of the structure, technical inspection of cars, lack of appropriate space for training, conducting classes and other issues. In order to solve the problems, the members of the organization expect the opportunity to cooperate with the state, noting that the development of this sport can also have a positive impact in terms of tourism. Enumerating the problems, the guests noted that the sport is being saved with the last efforts
The Committee member Julieta Azaryan noted that the problems will be addressed by sector and studied. A meeting will be again if necessary.
In the issue raised by the guests Julieta Azaryan also considered expedient the engagement of the Tourism Committee under the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Armenia.
