The RA NA President Alen Simonyan, being on a working visit in Italy, participated in the hearing dedicated to Armenia of the Standing Committee on EU Policies held in the Senate of Italy.

The RA NA President gave a speech, presented in detail the position of Armenia on different current issues, as well as answered the Italian parliamentarians’ questions.

The core of the topics under discussion were the issues regarding the peace treaty, the Crossroads of Peace project initiated by the government of the Republic of Armenia, European integration agenda of Armenia, the priorities of the ongoing democratic reforms in Armenia, and the repatriation of Armenians captives being held in Azerbaijan.
